Shark Jaw
The SHM Shark Jaw is an integrated deck module designed for 120% of the main winch SWL, in accordance with NMA regulations FOR-2652 and FOR-1072. Towing pins are designed according to the vessel's bollard pull, and the unit features emergency release in compliance with NMA regulations.
As a patented hinged solution, it's adapted for all vessel types and available with an optional foundation box for easy installation.
Emergency release
Shark Jaw and Towing Pins are both equipped with an integrated emergency release system. SHM Safety System provides this function even in dead ship conditions, and loads are released within 10 seconds.
Maintenance and cleaning
Thanks to our patented hinged solution cleaning and maintenance is easy. The shark jaw can easily be lifted on deck for cleaning, disinfection or maintenance - saving time and money.
Easy installation
The SHM Deck Module is delivered with a common foundation with hydraulic and electrical interface which reduces installation hours, it has also drainage points and water couplings to prevent fouling.
